It is a quiet, overcast day and I'm writing about the main character and one of the relationships she had a few years ago...then this poem started developing. So I thought I would share it with you. G xxx
“I walked down the street, crossed the road and came to your name, The breeze picked up and the rhythm gently pushed me just the same. No matter the weather, the path always leads me to you, However, many weeks or months it has been, I see you in the same view. Autumn leaves dance upon your name, I gently sweep them away, and recall that inner flame. It seems it’s only in this earthly existence that we don’t see each other, But step after step, up hills and down, I never want to see another. Your name will be there, and all the memories are there to hold, One day we will unite, a handhold, embrace or a kiss to be bold. Until then, I hold you in my heart every day, Hoping that synchronicities play a big part to bring us together, I pray.” By Gillian Du Caurroy
